Who We Are
Loyalto ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website at loyalto.store. We create custom memorial night lights for dog moms who want to honor their dogs while they are still here — or keep them forever present after they are gone.
If you have any questions about this policy, contact us at hello@loyalto.store.
Information We Collect
When you place an order or interact with our site, we may collect the following:
- Order information: your name, email address, shipping address, and payment information (processed securely by Shopify — we never see or store your full card number)
- Personalization data: your dog's name, the years you provide, and the photo you upload for your custom order
- Email address: if you sign up for our newsletter via the footer form
- Device and browsing data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, time on site — collected automatically through cookies and tracking technologies
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Process and fulfill your custom order
- Contact you about your order status, photo review, or any issues before production begins
- Send order confirmation and production update emails (if you've placed an order)
- Send marketing emails (only if you've opted in — you can unsubscribe at any time)
- Improve our website and understand how visitors find and use it
- Measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns
Your pet photos are used exclusively for producing your order. We do not use them in advertising, share them publicly, or store them longer than necessary for production and quality verification.
Cookies
Our website uses cookies — small text files stored on your device — to help us understand how visitors interact with the site and to support advertising functions.
Types of cookies we use:
- Essential cookies: required for the checkout process to function correctly
- Analytics cookies: help us understand site traffic and visitor behavior
- Advertising cookies: used by Meta (Facebook) to measure ad performance and show relevant ads to people who have visited our site
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Note that disabling certain cookies may affect your ability to complete a purchase.
Meta Pixel (Facebook Tracking)
Our website uses the Meta Pixel — a piece of code provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. — to measure the effectiveness of our Facebook and Instagram advertising.
The Meta Pixel tracks actions on our website (such as page views and purchases) and may use this information to:
- Report conversions to our ad campaigns
- Build custom audiences for retargeting (showing ads to people who have visited our site)
- Improve the targeting of our ads to people likely to be interested in our products
This means Meta may receive information about your visit to our site, even if you do not make a purchase. This data is governed by Meta's own privacy policy, available at facebook.com/policy.php.
You can opt out of Meta's use of this data for advertising purposes by visiting your Facebook Ad Preferences or by using the Your Online Choices tool.
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate our business. Each has their own privacy policy governing how they handle your data.
- Shopify: our e-commerce platform, which processes payments and manages orders. Shopify's privacy policy is available at shopify.com/legal/privacy
- Klaviyo: our email marketing platform, used to send order confirmation, production updates, and (with your consent) marketing emails. Klaviyo's privacy policy is at klaviyo.com/legal/privacy-notice
- Meta Platforms (Facebook/Instagram): advertising and pixel tracking, as described above
- Netlify: our website hosting provider. Netlify's privacy policy is at netlify.com/privacy
We do not sell your personal information to any third party.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:
- Access: request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correction: ask us to correct inaccurate information
- Deletion: request that we delete your personal data (subject to our need to retain certain records for legal or operational reasons)
- Opt-out of marketing: unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in any email we send, or by contacting us directly
- Data portability: request your data in a portable format where technically feasible
To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@loyalto.store. We will respond within 30 days.
Data Retention
We retain your order information for as long as necessary to fulfill your order, handle any disputes, and comply with legal obligations — typically 3–5 years. Pet photos submitted for your order are retained only for the duration needed for production and quality review, after which they are deleted from our systems.
If you subscribed to our email list, we retain your email address until you unsubscribe.
Children's Privacy
Our website is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
